Terms, privacy and refunds

Last updated: 26.10.2026. The "Social Post Maker" service (the "Service") is operated by Olympus Health Solutions, business no. 027922970, 4 Gruner Dov St., Petah Tikva, Israel ("we"). Contact: office@autowriter.biz. The Service is part of AutoWriter. Anything not covered here is governed by the AutoWriter Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Where they conflict, this document prevails for Social Post Maker. The Hebrew version prevails if the two versions differ.

1. Terms of use

1.1 What the Service does

The Service lets you create short videos for social networks (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok and X), such as animated posts, chats, tweets and split posts, as well as characters generated by artificial intelligence (AI). Videos are built from templates, a library of animations and backgrounds, music and the content you upload.

1.2 Account

You need an account to use the Service. Don't share your login details. You are responsible for all activity in your account. The Service is for users aged 18 and over.

1.3 Plans and credits

• There is a free plan and paid plans, billed monthly or yearly. The yearly discount and current prices are shown on the pricing page. Prices exclude VAT.
• Plans renew automatically at the end of each period until cancelled. You can turn off renewal anytime from "My plan".
• A price change takes effect at the next renewal, and no earlier than 30 days after we notify you.
• Your plan's monthly allowance doesn't roll over. Credits bought separately don't expire while your account is active. Credits can't be transferred to another account or exchanged for money.
• A video that fails because of a fault on our side isn't deducted, and if it was, it is returned.

1.4 Watermark

Videos on the free plan carry a Service watermark. You may not remove or hide it. Videos on paid plans have no watermark.

1.5 Who owns the videos

• Content you upload (text, photos, logo, voice) stays yours. You confirm you have the rights to it.
• On a paid plan, the finished video belongs to you and you may use it for any lawful purpose, including paid ads.
• On the free plan, you may use the video for personal and business use, with the watermark.
• Templates, animations, library characters, music and code belong to us or our licensors. You get a license to use them only as part of your video, not on their own: you may not extract, sell or distribute them as standalone files.
• Some backgrounds come from free libraries (such as Pixabay and Pexels), under those libraries' licenses.
• We won't show your video as a public example without your explicit consent.

1.6 AI content and characters

• AI output can be inaccurate or unexpected. Check every video before you publish it.
• You may not create a character that imitates a real person, or use a person's image or voice, without their written consent.
• You may not create deceptive deepfakes, fake reviews or testimonials, or videos that misrepresent a product or price.
• Where the law or a network's rules require AI content to be labeled, labeling it is your responsibility.

1.7 Prohibited use

You may not create content that harms minors, sexual content, content inciting hatred or violence, content that infringes copyright or trademarks, or any other unlawful content. You also may not scrape the Service automatically, bypass limits or allowances, reverse engineer it, or use its output to train a competing AI model. If you breach these rules, we may remove content, suspend your account or close it.

1.8 Posting on social networks

You publish videos yourself, on your own accounts. You decide what to post and when, and you are responsible for following each network's rules.

1.9 Availability and liability

The Service is provided "as is". We work to keep it available, but faults and interruptions can happen. Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the 3 months before the event, unless the law says otherwise.

1.10 Changes, law and jurisdiction

We will give 14 days' notice of any material change to these terms. Israeli law applies. The courts of the Central District of Israel have jurisdiction.

2. Cancellation and refunds

Social Post Maker is an ongoing service sold at a distance, so the Israeli Consumer Protection Law applies.

• A consumer may cancel within 14 days of the purchase, or of receiving the details document if that came later, even after starting to use the Service.
• The refund is the amount paid, minus the proportional price of the service already given and a cancellation fee of 5% of the price or ₪100, whichever is lower. Videos already downloaded count as service given.
• A person with a disability, a senior citizen or a new immigrant may cancel within 4 months, under the conditions set by law.
• After 14 days, cancelling a plan stops the next renewal. You keep access until the end of the paid period, with no refund for the remaining time.
• Credit packs: you can cancel for a full refund within 14 days if no credit was used. If credits were used, the refund covers only the unused credits, as the law allows.
• A business customer (not a "consumer" under the law): cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period, with no refund.
• A wrong charge or a video that failed because of a fault on our side is refunded in full.
• How to cancel: from "My plan", or by email to office@autowriter.biz. Refunds are made within 14 days, to the payment method used.

3. Privacy

The AutoWriter Privacy Policy applies to the Service, including your rights under the Israeli Privacy Protection Law and the GDPR. The additions here apply to Social Post Maker only.

3.1 What we collect

• Account details: name, email, your plan and billing dates.
• Content you upload: text, photos, videos and music, and the videos made from them.
• Usage data: how many videos were made and of which type, and technical data for troubleshooting.
• Payment: payments go through a payment provider (Grow or Stripe). We don't store your card number, only a token for recurring charges.

3.2 Providers that process content

• fal.ai (USA): AI characters, video generation, background removal and music. The image and text you send for generation are passed to it.
• Pixabay and Pexels: background search. Only the search term is sent, with no personal details.
• The payment, hosting and email providers.

We don't sell personal information, and we don't use your content to train models.

3.3 How long we keep it

Videos and uploaded files are kept while your account is active, and you can delete them anytime. After an account is closed, they are deleted within 30 days. Billing records are kept for 7 years, as required by law.

3.4 Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your information by emailing office@autowriter.biz. We reply within 30 days.
